A friendly and vibrant community is ready to welcome you at our Harman Park Community Centre. Located within the City of Belmont, our social centre offers you opportunity to socialise and connect and take part in an array of interests.
Trained staff and volunteers run a wide range of activities, events and outings for eligible community members. A number of different interest groups and clubs operate from the centre.
The service, for seniors and people living with a disability, is available to community members who have been assessed and meet the required criteria.
Transport for medical appointments and for a shopper’s bus can also be arranged for clients who live within six kilometres of the centre.
Carer health and wellbeing is vital. At MercyCare, we offer flexible respite options for family carers looking after a loved one. Respite can be provided in your home or at one of our specialised respite centres.

Our in-home support service offers the option of having a qualified support worker provide support to individuals living with dementia within the comfort of their own home. We can help encourage independence and safety around the home and support the individual living with dementia to continue doing the activities they enjoy within their own home environment.

MercyCare Respite Centre is more than just a 9-to-5 service. We provide both a daytime service and overnight stays.
MercyCare Respite Centre is a home away from home for people living with dementia. The house provides a comfortable, secure environment where support staff provide meaningful engagement and specialist care on a respite basis.
Activities on offer are based on people’s individual interests. Clients can enjoy the peaceful garden and dining area where meals are served.
MercyCare Respite Centre also provides essential respite to dedicated carers and assists them to have their loved one remain living at home.
